Extended card art, explained.
Everything to know before turning a sports card or TCG card into a connected binder page or card-cutout poster.
What does one creation include?
One creation generates the complete connected artwork for all eight pockets around the center card. Refreshing the full design uses one additional creation. Previewing, switching Binder or Poster, and downloading an existing result do not use another creation.
Is the first extended-art design really free?
Yes. A new user can make one complete eight-tile creation and download it without entering payment information. More creations can be purchased after the free design is used.
Are the binder tiles standard trading-card size?
Yes. Each of the eight surrounding tiles is prepared at 2.5 × 3.5 inches and 300 DPI, or 750 × 1050 pixels. Print at 100% or Actual Size so the inserts fit standard trading-card pockets.
Does the download include my original card image?
No. The binder download contains only the eight surrounding art tiles. Your physical card goes in the center pocket, so the collectible does not need to be altered.
What cards work best?
Use a clear, straight-on portrait image with the full card visible and little glare. Cards with a distinctive background, texture, scene or color pattern usually give the generator more visual information to continue.
Will the AI duplicate the athlete or card text?
The generator is directed to extend textures, backgrounds, scenery and abstract patterns—not to clone the card, reproduce the athlete or invent labels. Generated images can vary, so inspect the result before printing and refresh the full design if needed.
What is Poster mode?
Poster mode creates one seamless 7.5 × 10.5-inch, 300-DPI image with a true-size 2.5 × 3.5-inch center opening for the physical card. It removes the black binder-pocket gaps from the composition.
Are finished designs public?
Finished artwork is safety-checked and automatically added to the community gallery. Public share pages can be shared to social platforms with the generated artwork as the link preview.
Is Extend My Card affiliated with card brands or sports leagues?
No. Extend My Card is an independent tool for unofficial, personal-use artwork and is not affiliated with card publishers, leagues, teams, athletes, grading companies or other rights holders.
